Play & Workshop 31 March
This event is for everybody interested in making rhythmical music! Total beginners but also experienced drummers and musicians will gain from this session which will be split up into 2 different parts:
Where: Inch Community Centre
Who: Adults only - Beginners & everybody new to playing instruments welcome - no experience necessary!
Cost: only €20 - refreshments included! - All instruments provided but bring your own if you like
Your Facilitator is Urs Wenk, experienced Drumming Teacher and Workshop & Drum Circle Facilitator
Booking is essential as spaces are limited!
- African Drumming & Song Workshop 1,5 hours (Various patterns, break, solo on djembes & bass drums)
- Playshop 1,5 hours (Use everything that you previously learned in the workshop plus get to know loads more instruments and how to use them in a fun way. Aim of this playshop is to encourage improvisation and free expression. This playshop will also include songs and chants and some surprises)
