This event is for everybody interested in making rhythmical music! Total beginners but also experienced drummers and musicians will gain from this session which will be split up into 2 different parts:

• African Drumming & Song Workshop 1,5 hours                                                                                                             (Various patterns, break, solo on djembes & bass drums)

• Playshop 1,5 hours                                                                                                                                                       (Use everything that you previously learned in the workshop plus get to know loads more instruments and how to use them in a fun way. Aim of this playshop is to encourage improvisation and free expression.      This playshop will also include songs and chants and some surprises)

When:      Saturday, 31st March 1.30-5pm
Where:    Inch Community Centre
Who:        Adults only - Beginners & everybody new to playing instruments welcome - no experience necessary!
Cost:        only €20 - refreshments included! - All instruments provided but bring your own if you like
